Who Loves, You, Baby?
Your baby does! And... I do!
And we both want to make sure you love yourself. One way you can do that is by getting out of the house and being with other moms who have babies the same age as yours.
When I started New Baby New Paltz, I knew it was important.
But, I totally under estimated how important. I never imagined the far reaching effects it would have on my community! Several times each week mamas gather for friendship, companionship and camaraderie in mothering their babies.
We've met for more than 3 years and helped so many mamas feel normal.
We quietly turned 4 last month. I didn't make a big deal about it because, frankly, I am tired and overwhelmed.
- New Baby New Paltz is growing and needs a lot of my attention. (Some of you have noticed this, in a bad way!)
- Over the past year, my kids started needing a lot more of my attention. We moved to a new house, and I am spending more time with them.
- I am in court, trying to collect child support from my ex, which is exhausting. I should have done this 10 years ago, but I was terrified. I didn't have the information and support I needed to do it but now I do and this means I can help you do this too.
All this changes my priorities and focus.
Suddenly, I need to make a lot more money- like double - what I have been making. I think I can do it - I have many things in place so that can happen.
I have no idea what direction it will take but I feel your support and I am curious and open to see what the future brings!
It feels so good to be moving forward on my own path!
