The Care and Feeding of the Breastfeeding Mama by Donna Bruschi, IBCLC
Pre Order!
Papercover copy ships November 15, 2023
Breastfeeding takes time to learn, as does creating a relationship with a new baby.
Everyone wants to help welcome new babies into the world. They really do! But often they need guidance on how they can really help a mom and baby who are learning to breastfeed.
You may have heard that breastfeeding mothers need support to breastfeed and this guide spells out dozens of ways that support a new baby and a couple that don't.
This guide also helps caregivers understand more of how breastfeeding works in the first weeks. They learn what is normal, what is not, what they can do, and not do, to help mama the most. Starting in pregnancy, putting this knowledge into action, makes breastfeeding a whole lot more enjoyable for everyone,
